Glue of the Year

Fredrik Örneblad – The Game Incubator

“Fredrik does his work with a lot of passion to develop and run the incubator in Gothenburg, making it a highly valuable and relevant place for new studios to join! He puts a lot of effort into making sure we have good communication and collaboration between the two cities, aswell as between the new companies and the old. On top of all that, he never hesitates to offer help, create possibilities and in other ways strengthen the local games industry as a whole.”

Firestarter of the Year

Coffee Stain Studios

“An honorary prize for the Sweden Game Arena member company who made noticeable efforts to build the community, give back to its members, and overall acting as an ambassador for Sweden Game Arena.”

Rookie of the Year

DoubleMoose Games

“Even though they are a newly formed company in The Game Incubator, this years’s Rookie benefits from extensive experience in the industry, having taken part in the development of many Skövde born games, including Goat Simulator. They have chosen to use their experience to not only form a new venture, but also to help everyone else in our network, and their influence shows.”

Skövde Academic Game Award

Pinecone Creations – Bortbytingen

“In only ten weeks, the winning team has succeeded in creating a product with an impressive overall game experience. It’s a solid product with a clear story, thoughtful game design, great graphics and sound.
