SWEDEN GAME ARENA ATTENDS GDC19!
Come visit us in South Hall, booth #S152!
This is our 5th year exhibiting at Game Developers Conference, together with a party consisting of lecturers and researchers from the University of Skövde, companies from our network and The Game Incubator.
Sweden Game Arena is back to GDC, celebrating our 5th consecutive attendance! As usual, we are joined by our partners and friends, specifically the University of Skövde, The Game Incubator, four startups in our incubator and five alumni or partner companies. Come meet us in the South Hall, booth #S152!
The University of Skövde, one of the largest educational institutions in Europe in the field of games, will provide information about its two International Master’s Degree Programs (in Serious Games and in Digital Narratives). Boosting more than 500 game students in various game disciplines and more than 40 full-time faculty members and researchers, the University will actively seek partnerships in research and education. Staff from The Game Incubator will be on site to inform about the new startup program and international opportunities accompanied by Hiber showcasing their Hiberworld concept in the booth.
Quixel is a new partner that has joined Sweden Game Arena at several events and now shares the booth #S152 at the GDC expo in the South Hall.
”As the industry takes on the yearly pilgrimage to San Francisco so do we and besides our strategic partners we are happy to share our booth with Quixel as a result of a cooperation that started at Gamescom last year” says Magnus Ling, Spokes Person for Sweden Game Arena.

Call for speakers for Sweden Game Conference 2019
Sweden Game Arena is also on the look out for additional speakers and partners for Sweden Game Conference 2019 that spans over three business days on October 16 – 18. This year’s theme is Sustainability – this will also be Sweden Game Conference’s 10th anniversary. As we did every year, the event is followed by an extra Festival day, October 19, which is open to the public.
