Sweden Game Arena launches the SGC Vault & Dates for Sweden Game Conference 2016

If you missed the Sweden Game Conference this fall, worry not! Sweden Game Arena is happy to announce the SGC Vault, a new playlist on our official YouTUBE channel where we are positing all the SGC15 talks, as well as never before seen exclusive content!
Today we are debuting the SGC Vault with 4 sessions:
  • SGC15 Welcome Panel hosted by Per Strömback and the Dataspebranchen members board
  • Pascal Luban‘s experienced insights into Free to Play
  • Sally-Anne Kellaway‘s fascinating talk on The Audio Implementation Arms Race
  • Chris Avellone‘s Lessons Learned during his exciting career as designer for some of the most famous games of all times, such as Fallout, Neverwinter Nights, Planetscape: Torment, FTL or Pillars of Eternity


Today we are also announcing the dates for Sweden Game Conference 2016, which will take place in a venue at least three times larger next year! So book October 20-23, 2016 in your calendar now, and come join one of the fastest growing international game development events!

Skövde, Sweden, October 27, 2015 – After a successful Sweden Game Conference 2015 with over 300 guests and 33 renowned speakers from five continents and 26 countries, Sweden Game Arena launches the free game development resource SGC Vault, and announces a three times larger venue and an International Expo as well as October 20-23 as dates for Sweden Game Conference 2016.

SGC Vault

SGC Vault is a gamedev knowledge repository with all recorded talks from this year’s event. The topics of our talks cover everything from game design, production, or sound design to game marketing, publishing, as well as interesting industry insights for the global market, as well as emerging markets such as India or China.

Chris Avellone, Raph Koster, Rami Ismail or Armin Ibrisagic are just a few well known names in the video games industry, and they have all had valuable lessons for the Sweden Game Conference 2015 attendees, and now, for you. The SGC Vault will kickstart on Tuesday, October 27 with an initial batch of three talks, and will be updated constantly. The channel will feature all lectures, but also exclusive content and interviews.

Sweden Game Conference 2016 

Welcome to Sweden’s premier international game conference for business and academia, organized and hosted by the Sweden Game Arena in Game City Skövde. As a result of increased interest, next year we are moving to new facilities and expect to host three times as many participants as in 2015. Our line-up of speakers and events is boosted further and we are introducing an new International Expo, with participants from many different countries. As before, all conference activities are held in English.
