All In Toolkit
The All In project resulted in a toolkit - a free and adaptable resource designed to attract and support women and nonbinary individuals in the games industry.
The toolkit addresses obstacles these entrepreneurs often encounter when starting a studio, such as idea generation, finding the right team, accessing funding, and connecting with supportive networks. By offering structured workshops, a mentorship program, and guidance on creating safe, inclusive spaces, the toolkit empowers new founders to build confidence, refine their ideas, and navigate the startup landscape.
Identified Key Barriers
- Don’t know how to start
- Lack of idea
- Lack of team
- Lack of role models and network
- Lack of capital
How the Toolkit Overcomes These Barriers
To tackle these challenges, the All In Toolkit proposes a series of hands-on workshops focused on ideation, basic business know-how, and team formation. It also introduces a mentorship program that connects founders with role models and peers, creating a safe space for sharing experiences and receiving expert guidance. Additionally, a specialized pitch workshop helps founders counter investor bias by taking control of their narrative, ensuring they can effectively communicate the potential of their ideas. Together, these measures remove common stumbling blocks and foster a more diverse and thriving community in the games industry.
